2025 Eurasia commodity expo kicks off in NW China's Xinjiang

The 2025 (China) Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo opened Thursday at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Urumqi, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The event, themed "Advancing Eurasian Cooperation, Sharing Silk Road Prosperity," centers on supporting the growth of Xinjiang’s 10 major industrial clusters.

Spanning 140,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor exhibition space, this year’s expo is the largest to date in both scale and international participation, drawing more than 2,800 enterprises from 50 countries and regions.

More than 60 trade promotion activities are scheduled during the event to help companies connect with global markets.

The (China) Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo, an important part of the China-Eurasia Expo, has been held four times. It has achieved positive results and is playing a major role in promoting Xinjiang’s opening up and its integration into the new development paradigm.
