The People’s Bank of China, China’s central bank, will issue a special commemorative coin set on June 14, under the theme "National Treasures." This collection comprises two gold and three silver coins, all legal tender of the country.
The front side of each coin features the emblem of the People’s Republic of China, the national emblem, along with the country name and the year of issuance.

The reverse side of the 15-gram rectangular gold commemorative coin features a design depicting the brocade armband, one of China’s national treasures and most significant archaeology discoveries of the 20th century. It also bears Chinese characters translated as "Five stars rise in the east, benefitting China," Chinese characters translated as "National treasure: five stars rise in the east, benefitting China," and its face value.

The reverse side of the 3-gram round gold commemorative coin bears a design depicting the Rectangular Sheng Measuring Vessel of Shang Yang, which dates back more than 2,300 years. It also bears a design that depicts characters inscribed on the artifact, along with Chinese characters translated as "National treasure: Rectangular Sheng Measuring Vessel of Shang Yang," and its face value.

The reverse side of one 15-gram round silver commemorative coin features a depiction of the Bronze Chariot and Horses of the Qin Dynasty (221 BC-207 BC). It bears an inscription translated as "National treasure: Bronze Chariot and Horses," along with the coin’s face value.

The reverse side of one 15-gram round silver commemorative coin showcases a design depicting the bronze Changxin Palace Lantern dating back to the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24). The inscription "National treasure: Changxin Palace Lantern" and the coin’s face value are also included.

The reverse side of one 15-gram round silver commemorative coin displays a design depicting the Pottery Storyteller Beating a Drum, which dates back to the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220). It is inscribed with "National treasure: Pottery Storyteller Beating a Drum" and the coin’s face value.
The 15-gram rectangular gold commemorative coin contains 15 grams of pure gold, with a maximum mintage of 2,000 pieces.
The 3-gram round gold commemorative coin contains 3 grams of pure gold, with a maximum mintage of 5,000 pieces.
The 15-gram round silver commemorative coins contain 15 grams of pure silver, with a maximum mintage of 30,000 pieces (10,000 pieces for each design).
